Senior Meat Cutter Job Summary of Senior Meat Cutter: As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will help drive sales in the meat department by providing high-quality meat products and excellent service to members. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations while maintaining operational excellence and food safety standards. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Meat Cutter: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs, communicate effectively, and deliver excellent customer service. • Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, seasonal trends, equipment use, and backroom operations. • Process meat products by cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping according to specifications and food safety standards. • Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines. • Leverage digital tools and handheld technology to enhance sales, training, production quality, and associate engagement. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following company policies and procedures. • Assist members with product selections, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise. • Train and support team members, promote high-quality service, and help resolve challenges on the floor. • Comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards, including addressing issues through established chaels. • Complete work assignments efficiently by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and business partners to meet deadlines and improve processes. Qualifications and Experience of Senior Meat Cutter: • Minimum of 6 months experience working in a fresh production department. • Ability to complete required training and assessments within specified timeframes. • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Preferred: Experience in a meat processing area. Salary: The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with the actual rate based on location and experience. Additional premiums may apply depending on schedule, season, and specific job duties.
