Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

As a Co-op student in Customer Experience Design, you will provide critical support to our CXD team in delivering best-in-class products, services, and experiences to our customers and employees. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting market and competitor research to inform design decisions and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Developing innovative solutions and ideas to enhance the customer experience
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and event planning
  • Creating business cases and executive presentations to communicate design concepts and recommendations
  • Supporting the development of customer-facing projects, such as onboard brand experiences, uniform design, and inflight entertainment

You will have the opportunity to work with one of our specialized teams, including the Service Recovery Team, Onboard Brand Experience Team, Uniform Brand Experience Team, Inflight Entertainment Wi-Fi Team, or Inflight Entertainment Delta Sync Seatback Team. Each team offers a unique perspective and opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the customer experience.

Team Overview

Our CXD teams are dedicated to creating exceptional customer experiences across various touchpoints. The Service Recovery Team focuses on enabling our frontline employees to deliver premium experiences, while the Onboard Brand Experience Team designs and develops innovative onboard products and amenities. The Uniform Brand Experience Team manages uniform design, development, and distribution, and the Inflight Entertainment teams drive the development of best-in-class entertainment experiences. As a Co-op student, you will be an integral part of one of these teams, contributing to the design and delivery of exceptional customer experiences.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Be available for three alternating semesters
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college or university during the program duration
  • Have experience in research analysis, deck building, presentations, project coordination, and communications
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs
  • Be team-oriented and supportive of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Possess strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Be proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel, with knowledge of SharePoint site administration and OneDrive experience preferred
  • Be willing and able to adapt quickly and learn new skills
  • Prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States

Co-op Program Outline

Our Co-op program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive and immersive experience, alternating between working full-time at blithequark and enrolled in courses at your university. The program outline is as follows:

  • Spend three alternating semesters working full-time at blithequark and enrolled in courses at your university
  • Example: Spring 2025 – working, Summer 2025 – school or off, Fall 2025 – working, and Spring 2026 – school, Summer 2026 – working
  • At the end of the program, you will have gained one full year of experience
