Here, you will make an impact by: • Facilitating oversight of the compliance program, including healthcare compliance initiatives, by periodically reviewing the current state of the program to identify and address gaps; developing a list of objective measures for assessing and reporting the effectiveness of the compliance program, identifying resources needed to effectively operate the compliance program. • Identifying policies and procedures within the scope of the compliance program to help employees comply with applicable laws, regulations and company policies, and ultimately to assist in preventing violations of compliance standards. • Drafting and update compliance policies and procedures in consultation with the Chief Compliance Officer. • Developing, implementing, and documenting compliance education sessions each year that address key issues within the scope of the compliance program, including new hire training. • Designing and implementing a compliance communication strategy to keep employees informed of changes to the regulatory environment and of compliance program initiatives throughout the year. • Designing and recommending auditing or monitoring initiatives to assess healthcare compliance and detecting potential issues; developing corrective action plans to address identified issues and proactively addressing key compliance risk areas. • Responding to compliance concerns raised by employees or others who suspect a violation of Vyaire’s compliance standards in a thorough, timely and confidential manner and updating senior management on the status of significant investigations. • Supporting the data privacy program and related initiatives. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vyaire is looking for candidates who have the following required qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher • 7 years of experience in building and maintaining a compliance program with a focus on healthcare compliance, including drafting policies and procedures, experience conducting internal investigations and handling confidential information, reporting to/presenting in front of senior management and experience in project management. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: • Compliance Certification from SCCE, HCCA, or comparable organization • Working knowledge of global data privacy/data governance. • Certified Information Privacy Professional (International Association of Privacy Professionals) • Clinical, legal, auditing, or regulatory compliance experience.
