[Remote] Grad Intern – R&D (CPO - Early Development)

The R&D CPO - Early Development Grad Intern will support the design, planning, and management of operational strategy activities related to early-stage clinical trials, contributing to deliverables and gaining experience in clinical trial management. This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage with clinical research teams and develop skills in translational medicine.


Responsibilities

  • Gain a general knowledge of GCP, ICH, and Amgen process in the conduct of translational medicine early-stage program development clinical trials
  • Contribute to team and study deliverables such as pharmacy manuals, informed consent forms, site training materials, and review of clinical trial data trends that support planning, implementation, and reporting of results
  • Participate in a longitudinal project that assesses or helps address a need for the department
  • Conduct at least 1 lecture for clinical research staff in Early Development on topics that impact our clinical trials
  • Gain experience working in clinical trial management teams to better assess the direction of their career path

Skills

  • 18 years or older
  • Graduated with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master's program for a Master's internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master's OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship
  • Degree concentration in biological or physical sciences
  • Ability to think critically & work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
