Rotational Quality Engineer

They are seeking a Rotational Quality Engineer to engage in projects that enhance business productivity and profitability, drive corrective actions, and create quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Engage in projects that significantly drive the business productivity and profitability
- Drive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solving
- Lead and participate in Process Failure Mode and Affect Analysis (PFMEA) and dimensional engineering strategies
- Create quality documents, lead product and process qualification, and complete audit processes
- Gather and analyze data through statistical techniques while using computer software tools, such as Excel or Minitab, to analyze data to detect trends and abnormalities
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and standards and convert into manufacturing control plans and work instructions
- Perform and analyze fabrication and assembly equipment process capability studies and developing process validation plans and documenting results
Skills
- GPA 3.0 or higher
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other technical degree
- Previous Internship or Co-op Experience Leadership/involvement on campus or in the community
- Strong people skills, able to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% when required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quick learner with high level of ambition and drive
