Finance Business Partner

eSentire is a cybersecurity company dedicated to stopping cyber threats before they disrupt businesses. The Finance Business Partner will support financial planning, reporting, and analytics to enhance operational effectiveness, while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial transactions and provide variance analysis vs. forecast and budget
• Assist in monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning using Adaptive Insights
• Develop actionable financial reports and dashboards for leadership and operational teams
• Support the annual budget planning process and monitor budget compliance
• Approve purchase requisitions and surface financial risks and opportunities
• Recommend improvements to financial and operational reporting
• Build reports from single or multiple systems and ensure data accuracy
• Leverage AI-enabled reporting and analytics tools to streamline processes and improve data-driven decision-making
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to improve transactional processes and reporting clarity
• Train end users on dashboards and reporting tools
• Support leadership and cross-functional teams with special projects

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
• Actively pursuing CPA designation or other relevant certifications (e.g., CFA Level I candidate, MBA with finance focus)
• 1–3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or related finance roles, ideally within a growing or tech-oriented environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Solid business acumen, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
• Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, and Power BI is an asset
• Experience with Adaptive Insights or budget planning software
• Experience with SaaS and technology organizations
• Microsoft Excel skills
