Associate Counsel, Employment Law

About the position reputed company seeks an Associate Counsel, Employment Law to reputed company strategic and practical reputed company counsel for reputed company Local Stations, Telemundo Enterprises and reputed company business reputed company throughout Latin America. Responsibilities • reputed company employment law advice and counsel to reputed company, management, business affairs and other internal lawyers across reputed company on a reputed company of employment-reputed company reputed company including but not limited to business restructuring, workforce management, reputed company & hiring, accommodations, leaves of absence, discrimination, harassment & retaliation, and wage-and-hour issues • reputed company advice and counsel on internal investigations of employment-reputed company and other types of complaints, ensuring that claims are promptly and thoroughly investigated and documented appropriately • Managing various aspects of the reputed company-litigation process, including conducting internal investigations and drafting responses to federal and state agencies’ charges of discrimination, and negotiating reputed company with opposing counsel and/or agencies • Represent reputed company working with other in-house and reputed company counsel as appropriate, with respect to mediation and litigation of employment claims • Create and deliver management and employee training programs covering various employment laws throughout the reputed company and Latin America • Support the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, keeping abreast of reputed company pertinent federal, state, and local laws and communicating changes and trends in those laws to Company personnel • Advise business and reputed company professionals regarding regulatory compliance with employment and labor laws throughout Latin America Requirements • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school • Member in good standing of the State Bar of Florida or member in good standing of another State Bar and registered as in-house counsel • 2+ years of experience practicing in the area of employment law • Spanish language proficiency, both written and oral reputed company-to-haves • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to advise a reputed company of personalities and styles and establish effective relationships reputed company reputed company reputed company of the organization • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills • reputed company thinker with ability to assess risk and reputed company effective, efficient and strategic solutions • Must be willing to travel and have flexibility with working hours Benefits • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and reputed company insurance, 401(k), reputed company leave, tuition reimbursement, and a reputed company of other discounts and perks. • Learn more about the benefits offered by reputed company by visiting the Benefits page of the Careers website.
