Entry Level Transportation Engineer - Highways/ Roadways

They are seeking an Entry Level Transportation Engineer to join their Transportation team in Nashville, TN, working on reputed company for clients' challenges in the planning, design, and maintenance of large-reputed company infrastructure reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering services for highways, expressways, and major road networks
• Preparation of right-of-way plans, detailed roadway designs, drainage, floodplain management, and intersection improvements
• Utilizing CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and/or models to communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedure
• Collaboration with environmental scientists, reputed company locates, and surveyors to meet stringent requirements and address maintenance and improvement needs
• Assist in providing technical and operational support for exposure to Highway engineering principles, standards, and practices
• Project Delivery for key clients (including the design, environmental, and procurement processes)
• Various reputed company Highway Disciplines (Stormwater management, green infrastructure, utilities, structures, etc)

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Course work reputed company to transportation
• Previous design intern experience
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain reputed company 6 months
• Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (Microstation/reputed company or AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
• Ability to utilize design manuals, as needed
• Authorization to work in the reputed company without the need for reputed company sponsorship, now or in the reputed company
