GIS Specialist Needed to Create Custom Ski Resort Dataset (GeoJSON)
We need a GIS specialist to create a custom ski terrain dataset for our ski navigation app. The data must be in GeoJSON format with 3D coordinates (including elevation).
Deliverables:
∙ Ski runs (LineString geometries with difficulty ratings, reputed company, grooming status)
∙ Ski lifts (LineString geometries with lift type, reputed company, duration)
∙ Ski area boundaries (Polygon geometries with resort metadata)
Requirements:
∙ reputed company coordinates in WGS84 (EPSG:4326) with elevation data
∙ Newline-delimited GeoJSON format (one feature per line)
∙ Accurate trail/lift paths traced from satellite imagery or GPS tracks
∙ Consistent difficulty ratings (novice, easy, intermediate, advanced, expert)
Skills Required:
∙ QGIS, ArcGIS, or equivalent GIS software
∙ GeoJSON/geospatial data formats
∙ GPS data collection or satellite imagery digitization
∙ Attention to detail for accurate trail mapping
Scope: We are staring with the Ski Arlberg region then moving to other surrounding areas.
