Shopify Product Researcher, Developer, and Lister Needed

Job Title: Product Lister / Researcher / Content Developer (Remote – Canada or USA) About Us BrightLink AV is a leader in audio/video electronics and commercial display solutions. We’re expanding our Shopify storefront and are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented team member to take ownership of our **product listing pipeline** from research to deployment-ready content. Job Overview We're hiring a **Product Lister / Researcher / Content Developer** to help bridge the gap between our Chinese manufacturing partners and our North American development team. This role will involve **product data gathering, content creation, and organizational prep** to ensure every listing we go live with meets top-tier e-commerce standards. Responsibilities • Communicate directly with Chinese manufacturers to gather: • Product specs, high-res images, drawings, dimensions • Pricing, shipping costs, and lead times • Perform **competitive/industry research** to determine: • Ideal pricing, feature positioning, and bundling strategies • Best-in-class category organization and product structure • Develop **SEO-optimized product descriptions**, titles, and tags • Deliver fully prepared **product content kits** to our Shopify dev team, including: • Organized Excel/Google Sheets and PDF documentation • Product photos, diagrams, manuals, compatibility notes, applicable software • Use **AI tools** (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Photoshop AI, etc.) to assist with: • Copywriting, image enhancement, and diagram generation • Maintain consistent communication and fast response cycles with both suppliers and our internal dev team Requirements • Based in **Canada or the USA** • **English as a first language**; strong written and verbal skills • Experience communicating with **Chinese manufacturers** (Mandarin is a strong plus) • Familiarity with **Shopify** product listing best practices • Strong proficiency in: • Excel / Google Sheets • PDF creation and layout • Research tools and product sourcing platforms • Competency using **AI tools** for content creation and enhancement • Detail-oriented and highly organized Nice to Have • Basic understanding of AV or electronics products • Experience working in a product/content development team • Mandarin proficiency for direct supplier communication Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
