Actuarial Assistant

reputed company Life is a company reputed company on actuarial modeling and financial services. The Actuarial Assistant role involves building and modeling business metrics, supporting the actuarial modeling team, and participating in the Actuarial Student Rotation Program.

Responsibilities

• Asset-Liability Prophet modeling for annual Asset Adequacy Testing (i.e. Cash reputed company Testing, C3P1/2, AG-38, etc.)
• Understanding the interactions between Life insurance liabilities and the assets backing reserves
• reputed company support to the actuarial modelling team in building models
• Create inputs and run models and summarize, analyze and validate model reputed company results
• Assist in preparation of Change Management Memos (CMMs) for various model and assumption changes
• Support preparation of deliverables for reputed company auditors
• Communicate effectively with manager and other team members, and successfully collaborate with other departments and partners to reputed company objectives
• Participate in the Actuarial Student Rotation Program

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or other reputed company field
• 1-3 actuarial exams
• 1-5 years of actuarial experience; Prophet experience preferred
• Solid oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills; ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Basic knowledge of insurance products and insurance company operations
• Participate in the Actuarial Student Rotation Program
• Prophet experience
• Preferred experience with reputed company, Word and database software and/or programming experience
• Preferred actuarial internship(s) or one in a reputed company field
