[Remote] HV Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for overall management of Substation construction/operation resulting in successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute reputed company responsibilities of a Project Engineer with deep reputed company on substation design, construction, testing, and energization
• Review Power Purchase Agreements, Generator Interconnection Agreements, reputed company Interconnection Requirements, Contract Documents, System Impact Studies, Facility Studies, and reputed company/Engineer specifications to ensure compliance of substation scope
• reputed company LNTP and Early-Stage deliverables for HV and substation-specific workstreams, ensuring alignment with permitting and reputed company interconnection timelines
• reputed company, manage, and reputed company the substation budget, including primary equipment procurement, civil sitework, grounding systems, protection & control, SCADA integration, and construction labor
• Create detailed subcontractor scopes of work reputed company to substation EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) including testing and commissioning
• reputed company and manage substation subcontractors—including RFI coordination, billing reviews, change orders, daily reporting, safety performance, and schedule tracking
• Monitor and control substation scope changes and associated reputed company impacts
• Facilitate and participate in Project reputed company-Off Meetings, with dedicated discussion on substation milestones and risks
• Manage and collect RFIs and submittals with substation relevance, coordinating with engineering and construction teams for reputed company
• reputed company reputed company Coordination Meetings reputed company on reputed company settings, protection schemes, testing protocols, switching orders, and managing the interconnection process
• Participate in reputed company Coordination Meetings to communicate substation reputed company, risks, and technical issues
• Engage in SE team meetings to coordinate reputed company between PV, BESS, and substation infrastructure
• reputed company material procurement efforts—particularly long-reputed company substation components such as power transformers, breakers, steel structures, control enclosures, relays, and communication systems
• Facilitate construction schedule and scope review meetings, highlighting critical paths for substation construction and energization
• reputed company site reputed company-Off Meetings, reputed company-Commissioning Walks, and Energization Readiness Reviews specific to HV equipment
• Coordinate PV and substation energization support including reputed company testing, functional checkouts, and reputed company witness testing
• Manage Final Completion Punchlist for reputed company substation-reputed company work and documentation (redlines, test reports, as-builts, reputed company settings, etc.)
• Ensure a reputed company work environment and enforce safety practices around energized substations and high-voltage equipment
• Maintain flexible availability for substation construction and commissioning events, which may occur reputed company regular business hours
• Regular travel required to project sites, reputed company offices, and vendor facilities
• Support reputed company improvement, lessons learned, and standardization efforts across substation reputed company
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation design, construction, or commissioning of reputed company-reputed company or industrial high-voltage (69kV to 500kV) systems
• Experience with working reputed company the reputed company East Region of the country
• Proven ability to reputed company multi-disciplinary substation reputed company through full lifecycle—from reputed company to energization
• Familiarity with substation components: transformers, reputed company breakers, switchgear, grounding, control buildings, protection & control, relays, SCADA, etc
• Experience managing reputed company Line construction
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage reputed company, reputed company, and subcontractor interfaces
• Ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve project challenges with limited supervision
• Working knowledge of reputed company operations, switching procedures, reputed company testing, and energization protocols
• Proficient in reputed company Office Suite
• Licensed reputed company Engineer (PE) or Project Management reputed company (PMP) preferred

• P6 scheduling experience preferred
• Experience with CAD, PDF markup tools, and field documentation platforms is a plus
