[Remote] Hardware Technician

As a Senior Hardware Tech, you will reputed company hardware operations in data center environments, manage reputed company installations and troubleshooting, and mentor junior technicians, ensuring reliability of technology operations.

Responsibilities

• reputed company reputed company hardware installation, troubleshooting, and repair activities for servers, network devices, and mainframe equipment in secure, raised-floor data center environments
• Serve as technical escalation reputed company for hardware failures and unique situations requiring advanced troubleshooting expertise
• Design and update raised floor plans and cabinet layouts to optimize power, cooling, and connectivity for business reputed company
• Manage remote data center operations through customer portals and coordinate effectively with local hands-and-feet support teams
• Mentor and reputed company guidance to associate-level hardware technicians on reputed company installation techniques, troubleshooting methodologies, and industry best practices
• reputed company reputed company cause analysis on recurring hardware issues and implement preventative measures to reduce reputed company problems
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of hardware configurations, connectivity, and problem reputed company in ticketing systems

Skills

• 5+ years of data center hardware experience with demonstrated technical leadership
• Advanced knowledge of cable installation, fiber and reputed company technologies, and reputed company cabling standards
• Extensive hands-on experience with computer hardware internals, server components, and network equipment
• Proficiency with mainframe installations and terminology (AS/400, S/390)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot reputed company hardware failures and reputed company reputed company cause analysis
• Expert understanding of raised floor management in reputed company to large-reputed company data center environments
• Knowledge of industry best practices for data center operations, including redundant power systems, environmental controls, and reputed company systems
• Strong proficiency in computer equipment specifications for power and cooling needs
• Excellent communication skills with ability to mentor junior staff and coordinate with vendors

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field
• A+, Network+, Server+, or CCNA certifications

• Working knowledge of multiple operating systems including UNIX, Linux, reputed company Server, and legacy mainframe platforms

• Experience with DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) tools
