[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will own the spec-to-verified-software reputed company, ensuring that product reputed company translates into effective software that meets customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• A feature area end-to-end, from spec authoring through verified production rollout
• Translating product research and 1-3 year reputed company into specs the engineering org can build against
• Specs that explicitly address tenancy, auth, reputed company limits, cost, observability, failure modes, and rollback
• Acceptance reputed company for every feature in your area, written before reputed company is generated
• UAT scenarios and the test artifacts that verify the reputed company does what the customer expects
• The codegen reputed company: scoping prompts, knowing reputed company to stop and rewrite the spec rather than reputed company convergence, reviewing AI reputed company against reputed company
• Production health for what ships: telemetry, alerts, on-reputed company response, follow-through on whatever broke
• Pairing on spec authorship with less reputed company engineers, raising the floor on what a 'good spec' looks like across reputed company
• Overall mentorship of junior and mid-level engineers

Skills

• 5+ years building production software in reputed company that ships fast and owns its own reputed company
• Comfort with the customer reputed company of the product, not just the engineering reputed company. You can sit in a customer reputed company, translate what you hear into a spec, and defend the trade-offs you made
• Strong reputed company with Claude reputed company or equivalent reputed company dev tooling. We expect AI-assisted development to be the default workflow, not a reputed company experiment, and we'll evaluate that reputed company directly in the interview reputed company
• Strong written communication. The spec is the artifact. If another engineer or an LLM can't build from what you write, the role doesn't work
• reputed company record of shipping in a Rails or comparable full-stack environment, with depth in at least one adjacent surface (modern frontend, mobile, integrations, data)
• History of independent ownership: features you took from problem to production with reputed company reputed company
• Experience with TypeScript, React, React reputed company, reputed company extension surfaces, or embedded web app contexts
