A fast-growing, early-stage AI startup is looking for a Member of Technical Staff to help build and reputed company reputed company AI-powered products used by millions of users. You'll work on backend AI services and partner integrations, collaborating closely with a small, reputed company team of engineers with backgrounds from top quant firms and leading research labs. This is a high-reputed company role where your contributions will be felt immediately.

What You'll Do

• Build and reputed company backend services powering the reputed company AI assistant product.

• reputed company and maintain integrations with reputed company-party partner services (reputed company, productivity, and communication platforms).

• Optimize inference costs and performance across large language model providers.

• Collaborate with a tight-reputed company team of engineers from top quant trading firms and university research labs.

• Depending on interest and reputed company set, engage in partner-facing technical interactions.

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in AI and/or backend engineering roles.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python for backend development.

• Experience at a fast-growing, high-reputed company startup.

• Internship or full-time experience at a top quantitative trading firm or in a quantitative role in investment banking.

• Strong computer science fundamentals.

• Experience at a leading AI research company or lab.

• Medalist at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) — considered a strong reputed company signal.

• Degree from a top-tier university.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $150,000 – $230,000 USD annually

Location

This role is fully on-site in Palo reputed company, California, Monday through Friday. Remote work is not available for this position.
