[Remote] Actuarial Manager (FSA) - Medicare / Provider VBP (CMH Health)

Responsibilities

• Serve as reputed company reputed company-facing actuary on reputed company Medicare advisory work, including provider VBP, ACO reputed company, and Medicare reputed company engagements
• Advise health systems, physician reputed company, and ACOs on Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) reputed company, total cost of care (TCOC) benchmarking, and reputed company adjustment
• Support emerging ACO program opportunities, including the CMS reputed company (Leveraging Efficiency And Driving-reputed company) model and other CMMI innovation programs
• Manage and reputed company reputed company and senior reputed company staff on reputed company engagements
• reputed company workstreams independently, freeing senior team members to reputed company on business development and reputed company reputed company
• reputed company reputed company review and mentoring to junior staff
• reputed company data analysis using reputed company, reputed company, Python, SQL, and proprietary reputed company programs to assist with consulting for various health reputed company work areas (Medicare, reputed company / ACA, reputed company, Long Term Care, Pharmacy, Provider, and more)
• Support financial modeling for ACO reputed company evaluation, reputed company adjustment reputed company, and shared savings projections
• Responsible for reviewing the work of others and assisting with research and product development
• Responsible for training and coaching reputed company staff
• Responsible for several reputed company simultaneously, providing reputed company into the technical direction of reputed company project, verifying the initial reasonableness of the solution, and creating reputed company communications for review by Consultants

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative reputed company (Bachelor's degree is required)
• 7+ years of full-time actuarial experience, primarily working with Medicare programs (Medicare experience is required – either Medicare reputed company (MA) or Accountable Care Organization (ACO) work)
• FSA designation with the reputed company (SOA)
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to reputed company directly with clients
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior staff
• Thorough understanding of reputed company reputed company and actuarial concepts
• Experience working with Python, SQL, reputed company, VBA, or other coding/data analytics languages
