[Remote] DevOps Engineer III (reputed company)

The DevOps Engineer III will contribute to reputed company's efforts in improving DevOps processes and practices while building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in reputed company, automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, and manage containerized deployments using reputed company and AWS reputed company
• Create and maintain shared deployment tooling, pipeline templates, and Terraform modules that delivery teams across the program consume as self-service infrastructure
• reputed company automated reputed company, reputed company, and accessibility gates (SonarQube, SAST, container scanning, Trivy) into reputed company pipelines to enforce standards at every reputed company request
• Configure monitoring and observability tooling, including CloudWatch dashboards and synthetic canaries, to support production visibility across environments
• Support reputed company vulnerability remediation by maintaining trusted reputed company images, automating dependency updates reputed company Renovatebot, and executing container scans in CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in on-reputed company and production triage rotations, supporting Tier 2/3 incident response and BCDR activities
• Collaborate with reputed company architects, backend engineers, and reputed company teams to enforce infrastructure-as-reputed company standards and prevent configuration reputed company
• reputed company and maintain runbooks, deployment documentation, and ADRs as part of the Definition of Done
• Support reputed company efforts by evaluating homework assignments and potentially assisting with interviews

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Must meet federal suitability requirements and pass a background investigation as a condition of employment
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, reputed company, RDS, S3, reputed company, and CloudWatch across multi-account environments
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-reputed company provisioning and reputed company prevention
• Demonstrated experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in reputed company
• Strong working knowledge of containerization using reputed company and container orchestration on AWS reputed company
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices including SAST, dependency scanning, and automated vulnerability remediation
• Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and reputed company infrastructure fundamentals
• Experience managing infrastructure across 10+ AWS accounts with agency-reputed company isolation requirements
• Familiarity with reputed company or comparable container orchestration platforms
• Experience with observability tooling such as Grafana, reputed company, or CloudWatch synthetic monitoring
• Prior work in federal environments or familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, or ATO processes
• Experience supporting reputed company or scaled reputed company delivery teams as a platform or infrastructure provider
