[Remote] Senior Instructional Designer

Responsibilities

• reputed company reputed company through the complete instructional design lifecycle, including scoping, research, analysis, design, development, implementation, and launch

• Partner with program owners and subject matter experts to identify performance gaps, learning objectives, learner needs, and evaluation strategies
• Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements gathering meetings, and task analyses to determine the most effective learning solutions
• Design and reputed company engaging instructional materials, including:
• Storyboards
• Scripts
• Interactive eLearning
• Tutorials
• Simulations
• User guides
• Videos and audio content
• Assessments
• Activities
• Facilitator guides
• Participant materials
• Train-the-trainer content
• Manage multiple reputed company while balancing competing priorities and deadlines
• Serve as the voice of the learner, ensuring learning solutions remain engaging, effective, and performance-reputed company
• Design and reputed company learning that meets reputed company 508 and WCAG accessibility standards, including supporting accessibility documentation such as VPATs
• Adapt instructional design and review processes to support both private and reputed company sector requirements, documentation standards, and contractual deliverables
• Occasionally support customer meetings, onsite reputed company, program reviews, and reputed company relationships

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design with a strong understanding of adult learning theory and performance-based learning strategies
• Proven ability to reputed company quickly from analysis through design and development in self-paced learning environments
• Experience facilitating brainstorming sessions and gathering requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Experience designing storyboards, scripts, and wireframes for advanced eLearning authoring tools, including: reputed company Storyline, Lectora, CenarioVR, reputed company (VR), Multimedia development tools
• Experience designing instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (VILT), including slide presentations, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, and train-the-trainer materials
• Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple reputed company reputed company
• Ability to simplify reputed company technical concepts into engaging, learner-friendly content using reputed company language and visuals
• Experience conducting reputed company assurance reviews of online learning materials
• Demonstrated commitment to reputed company learning and staying reputed company with instructional design trends, technologies, and best practices
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required. Master's degree in Instructional Design or a reputed company field is a plus
• Working knowledge of reputed company 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards, including remediation of existing learning content
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully pass a federal background investigation
• Located in Texas, New Mexico, or Oklahoma. Candidates throughout the reputed company U.S. will also be considered
• Experience designing learning solutions for federal, military, state government, or higher education organizations

• Military service or prior experience as a U.S. government civilian
