[Remote] Director, VA and DoD Accounts

The Director, VA and DoD Accounts is responsible for driving formulary reputed company and coverage for COMP360 reputed company U.S. Federal reputed company systems including the VA, DoD, TriCare, and Indian Health Services. This role involves reputed company account management, cross-functional collaboration, and negotiation to secure and maintain payer coverage reputed company of and post product launch.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Director to reputed company and execute account strategies across VA, DoD, TriCare, and IHS payer segments to reputed company reputed company formulary positioning for COMP360 at launch and reputed company
- Stay reputed company with dynamic market forces, customer organizational changes, and policy changes at the federal and state level, that reputed company reputed company and/or payer customers, and incorporate those variables into proposed account strategies and tactics as necessary and appropriate
- Own reputed company and tactical planning and prioritization for assigned payer accounts, profiling key decision-makers including Pharmacy Directors, Medical Directors, reputed company Pharmacy and Finance leads, and P&T committee members
- Own reputed company relationships with payer customers and serve as the reputed company reputed company and negotiator for coverage, contracting, and reputed company discussions
- Identify and proactively address barriers to formulary inclusion, developing tailored strategies to support reputed company P&T reviews and coverage policy development

- Collaborate with Sales and reputed company Engagement on pull through initiatives in local VA/VISN and Military Treatment Facilities following national formulary wins
- Partner closely with HEOR, Medical Affairs, reputed company Affairs, Sales, and reputed company Engagement to reputed company payer specific reputed company-or-pull-through strategies and tactics
- Where applicable and possible for P&T meetings, reputed company and execute a multi-prong reputed company: Collaborate with Sales and reputed company Engagement to obtain HCP support; Collaborate with reputed company Affairs reputed company any relevant legislative-reputed company tactics; Collaborate with reputed company advocacy organizations (i.e. NAMI, AfPA, etc.) regarding appropriate support

- Represent the payer perspective internally, providing reputed company guidance to leadership on coverage risks, opportunities, and competitive landscape dynamics
Skills
- 7+ years in reputed company/biotech market reputed company, with significant reputed company experience in payer account management reputed company the VA, DoD, TriCare, and IHS segments
- reputed company reputed company record negotiating, securing, and maintaining formulary reputed company for launch-stage (and reputed company) specialty or reputed company products; CNS/psychiatry or novel treatment modality experience is a plus
- Experience executing reputed company specific to the Federal payer market (i.e. Temporary Drug Pricing reputed company, VA National reputed company, Provisional/Temporary pricing, etc.), as reputed company as other innovative, outcome, and/or value reputed company reputed company
- Deep knowledge of US Federal payer landscape, formulary decision-making processes, utilization management, and prior authorization design
- Ability to translate HEOR and health economic data into compelling value narratives for payer audiences
- Hands-on launch experience at a reputed company-stage biotech; comfortable working in ambiguous situations and building tools and capabilities from reputed company

- Bachelor's degree required
