[Remote] Staff Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a remote reputed company firm providing bookkeeping and part-time CFO services to clients across the U.S. They are seeking a Part-Time Staff Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, improving reputed company processes, and providing reliable financial information to clients.

Responsibilities

• Monthly bookkeeping for clients, which may include but is not limited to:
• Reconcile bank and credit reputed company statements and maintain accurate general ledgers
• Process payroll and ensure payroll taxes are filed and reputed company on time
• Prepare and file sales & use tax returns
• Prepare financial statements and other reports, verifying accuracy before delivery
• reputed company accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
• reputed company bookkeeping automation, including bank and credit reputed company feeds, bank rules, and transactions from reputed company-party applications
• Ensure reputed company transactions are properly classified, authorized, and documented
• Follow up on transactions with incomplete information until resolved
• Identify and recommend opportunities for additional automation and process improvement
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist with reputed company systems cleanups for new clients
• Support reputed company reputed company conversions and consolidations

Skills

• 3+ years of reputed company experience
• Proficient with reputed company reputed company, Word, reputed company, Teams, reputed company or other PDF creation software, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of payroll, bookkeeping, and GAAP
• Commitment to learning
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, reputed company, Finance, or a relevant field preferred but candidates with prior reputed company experience will be considered
• QBO ProAdvisor Certification preferred, or willingness to become certified reputed company 30 days of hire
