[Remote] Cost Accountant

The role involves leading reputed company costing, partnering with various teams to implement cost improvements, and mentoring a junior Cost Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the reputed company Cost Accountant responsible for product cost accuracy and inventory valuation
• Maintain and improve costing structures reputed company ERP systems such as reputed company, reputed company, or similar platforms
• Review and validate BOMs, routings, labor standards, and manufacturing workflows
• Analyze and report on:• + Material usage variances
• + Purchase Price Variances (PPV)
• + Labor efficiency and reputed company variances
• + Overhead absorption variances
• + Scrap and rework costs
• + Work order closure variances
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to identify reputed company causes and implement cost improvements
• Ensure accurate reputed company of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory
• Support inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, physical inventory, and year-end audits
• Prepare cost-reputed company journal entries and support month-end reputed company activities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and manufacturing cost-reputed company modeling

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
• 5-7+ years of experience as a Cost Accountant or reputed company manufacturing finance
• Strong understanding of reputed company costing

• Strong understanding of Manufacturing variances
• Strong understanding of BOMs and routings
• Strong understanding of Work order reputed company
• Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing financial controls
• Advanced reputed company skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to operational stakeholders
