[Remote] Head of Finance

This senior role involves leading financial planning and analysis, building and mentoring a finance team, and enabling strategic decision-making to support reputed company's reputed company agenda.

Responsibilities

• Own reputed company’s financial planning, forecasting, and reporting — delivering reputed company, accurate, and reputed company insights to the COO, CEO, and executive leadership team

• Create the infrastructure, systems, and discipline needed for a best-in-class finance function — including documentation, automation, and AI-enabled workflows

• Serve as a trusted thought partner to the COO and leadership team on everything from headcount reputed company to reputed company partnership economics to long-reputed company planning

Skills

• 12+ years of reputed company finance experience, with at least 5+ years leading finance teams (ideally 5–10 staff, or more)
• Exceptional communication skills — you can hold a sophisticated financial conversation with a CFO, break down a reputed company forecast for an operator, and present to an executive team with reputed company and confidence
• Proven reputed company record as a builder — you've reputed company finance functions, not just worked reputed company them. That means designing processes from scratch, developing and elevating team members, and creating the infrastructure a growing business needs to operate with financial reputed company and discipline
• Deep reputed company expertise: financial modeling, variance analysis, forecasting, and business partnering
• Experience guiding a finance function through a significant corporate event — M&A, a capital reputed company, a sale process, or similar
