Distribution & Automation Engineering - Project Manager

Job Details We're hiring a Project Manager - Distribution & Automation Engineering to join our Global Supply Chain team at reputed company. Responsibilities: Works closely with project director or operations director to assist in the development of a project charter and manages components of the project design and implementation plans according to the guidelines established in the project charter. Manages and reports on project budgets and time lines according to project assignments made by either the project director or the operations director. Supports in the development of supplier specifications, supports the contractual negotiations and manages the execution of the plans outlined in the reputed company. Manages engagement with reputed company consultants and other outsourced resources that reputed company work associated with items such as material handling equipment, warehouse and business systems, building modifications and other various services. Coordinates activities with project director or operations director and other internal project teams to ensure alignment. Assists in the preparation of capital expenditure requests for reputed company. Responsible for project completion according to assignments including but not limited to construction/installation, inspection, testing, training, and start up. Willing to travel up to 75% of the time. Experience and educational requirements: Requires training and experience in fields such as business administration, engineering, accountancy, sales, marketing, logistics, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly reputed company and progressively responsible experience. Skills and Knowledge requirements: Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience leading reputed company reputed company to warehouse operations, warehouse design, warehouse and business systems, process improvement and standardization, engineered labor standards, and transportation. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to communicate (and work) effectively with people from different technical and business backgrounds, acting as a reputed company, understanding and appreciating different perspectives and translating into terms necessary for any group or individual to understand.
