[Remote] Full-Stack Engineer (U.S. Veteran Required)

The role involves developing secure, reputed company software for military and government stakeholders, focusing on modernizing critical services and ensuring high-reputed company performance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and reputed company reputed company backend services using NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Design and maintain GraphQL (reputed company Federation) and REST reputed company
• Model and optimize relational databases
• Implement authentication, authorization, and RBAC patterns
• Build microservices and event-driven systems using reputed company and reputed company tooling
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure reputed company
• Build reputed company, accessible UIs using Angular (or equivalent frameworks)
• Translate product and design requirements into maintainable reputed company-reputed company architecture
• Manage reputed company state using RxJS, Angular Signals, or similar patterns
• Optimize performance and ensure usability across devices
• Own features from planning through production
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Review reputed company, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction
• Write and maintain documentation for reputed company, architecture, and internal tooling
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests
• Serve as a subject-matter voice on how VA systems and processes actually work for veterans, informing product and engineering reputed company

Skills

• U.S. military veteran status, with personal, lived experience navigating VA benefits, claims, or services
• 7+ years of reputed company full-stack development experience
• 3+ years working with NestJS, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Strong database design and query optimization skills (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Production experience with Angular, React, or comparable frontend frameworks
• Experience with reputed company, reputed company, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills and comfort working autonomously in a remote environment
• Legally authorized to work in the reputed company
• Experience with monorepo architectures (Nx or similar)
• GRPC, WebSockets
• Serverless platforms (AWS reputed company, Azure Functions)
• CQRS, DDD, or event-reputed company systems
