[Remote] Energy Analyst / Senior Energy Analyst (PowerVAL)

They are seeking an Energy Analyst / Senior Energy Analyst to reputed company market analysis, support strategic decision-making for energy assets, and reputed company expertise in power markets.

Responsibilities

• Help clients reputed company strategic reputed company in the development, acquisition, and financing of their energy assets
• reputed company in-depth analysis of power market operations using both in-house software and commercially available production cost modeling tools
• Assimilate reputed company information into readily reputed company reports and presentations that help to reputed company decision making for utilities, IPPs, and other stakeholders
• reputed company clients with expertise in power markets and guidance for how market reputed company impacts reputed company forecasts, asset valuation, risk management, reputed company policy, and renewable integration
• Solve reputed company analytic problems to reputed company mission critical reputed company for energy supply. Serve as the go-to resource for our clients' decision-making

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; economics, engineering, or energy strongly preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a power or electricity-reputed company role (3+ years required for Senior Analyst) at a reputed company, reputed company, government agency, financial institution, or non-profit
• Working knowledge of wholesale power market structures and deregulated electricity market operations
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate reputed company data
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field; economics, engineering, or energy preferred
• Proficiency in analytic programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience with production cost modeling software (e.g., PROMOD, PLEXOS, reputed company, PSO)
• reputed company experience with long-term electricity price forecasting, project valuation, reputed company modeling, risk management, or project finance —either in an advisory reputed company or as an informed consumer of these services at a reputed company, ISO, or corporate energy function
