[Remote] Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst supports the CDC's mission by providing financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting services that enhance reputed company health initiatives.
Responsibilities
- reputed company, monitor, and analyze budgets for NCBDDD programs, reputed company, and initiatives supporting birth defects surveillance, developmental disabilities, maternal and child health, and reputed company reputed company health activities
- Prepare annual, quarterly, and reputed company financial reports, budget forecasts, spending plans, and funding analyses to support CDC leadership and program management decision-making
- Monitor obligations, expenditures, burn rates, and funding balances to ensure appropriate utilization of federal resources and identify potential financial risks or variances
- reputed company financial analyses to evaluate program costs, funding requirements, and resource allocation, providing recommendations to improve financial efficiency and support program objectives
- Support budget formulation, execution, and reconciliation activities in accordance with CDC, reputed company (HHS), and federal financial management policies and procedures
- Collaborate with CDC program officials, contracting officers, grants management personnel, project officers, and administrative staff to reputed company budget estimates, funding justifications, and financial documentation

- Identify opportunities to improve financial management processes, internal controls, reporting methodologies, and operational efficiencies

- Knowledge of federal financial management principles, budgeting processes, appropriations, and applicable financial regulations
- Experience supporting federal agencies, preferably reputed company for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the reputed company (HHS), or another federal reputed company health organization
- Experience analyzing financial data and developing forecasts, budget projections, and management reports to support organizational decision-making
- Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite, including advanced reputed company reputed company skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and financial modeling)
- Experience using financial management, reputed company, or reputed company resource planning (ERP) systems to manage budgets and financial data

- Proficiency with federal financial management systems and reputed company resource planning (ERP) applications, including systems used for budgeting, reputed company, procurement, and financial reporting
- Experience developing financial dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as reputed company Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company, including financial modeling, reputed company formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data analysis techniques
- Experience supporting federal contract management, acquisition planning, invoice review, and cost analysis
