[Remote] Part Time Business Analyst / Applications Tester

They are seeking a Part Time Business Analyst with strong application testing expertise to support a mission-critical Computer Aided reputed company (CAD) reputed company for a large metropolitan reputed company safety agency. The role involves requirements analysis, backlog management, testing, validation, and reputed company improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with reputed company safety stakeholders, reputed company operations personnel, and technical teams to reputed company, analyze, and document business and reputed company requirements
• Translate operational needs into detailed functional and technical requirements
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to define and prioritize defects, enhancements, and reputed company improvements
• reputed company and maintain key artifacts including:
• Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
• User stories and acceptance reputed company
• Process reputed company diagrams
• Requirements traceability matrices
• Gap analysis documentation
• Support backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization in coordination with delivery leadership and stakeholders
• reputed company detailed test plans, test cases, and validation scripts reputed company to documented requirements
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
• Validate enhancements, defect fixes, configuration changes, and reputed company releases in a controlled environment
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and production releases
• Support change management and release processes in a mission-critical environment
• Document test results, defects, and remediation status using approved tracking tools
• Collaborate with application support teams to analyze recurring defects and recommend reputed company cause improvements
• Assist in documenting operational workflows and reputed company processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and reputed company modernization
• Support mobilization efforts including documentation of:

Skills

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or High School diploma with 12 years of experience
• U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent reputed company (Green reputed company holder) authorized to work in the reputed company without reputed company or reputed company sponsorship
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in reputed company or mission-critical IT environments
• 3+ years of hands-on application testing experience (functional, regression, UAT)
• Strong experience with requirements documentation including BRDs, use cases, user stories, and traceability matrices
• Experience supporting production applications in a high-availability or 24x7 environment
• Familiarity with defect tracking and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, reputed company, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate reputed company operational workflows into reputed company requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working in emergency response or municipal government environments
• Prior experience in application maintenance and support (AMS) or managed services programs

• Working knowledge of .NET environments, SQL Server, reputed company, or reputed company application architectures
