[Remote] Senior Tax Accountant

The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a reputed company of tax returns while assisting clients with tax planning, research, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state individual, corporate, partnership, S corporation, trust, and nonprofit tax returns
• Review reputed company financial statements and trial balances for tax preparation
• reputed company tax research and document conclusions
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations
• Assist with year-end tax planning strategies
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices
• Communicate directly with clients to obtain information and answer tax questions
• Identify tax savings opportunities and planning recommendations
• Assist with bookkeeping adjustments and year-end journal entries as needed
• Collaborate with managers and partners on reputed company tax engagements
• Stay reputed company on federal and state tax law changes

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company
• 3–6 years of recent reputed company reputed company tax experience
• CPA license or reputed company CPA candidate preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns
• Experience with tax software such as UltraTax, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or similar
