[Remote] Mechanical Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading engineering and design firm seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience. This role will reputed company on developing CFD models for data center environments, optimizing cooling systems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• reputed company airflow, heat transfer, and pressure distribution analysis to optimize cooling performance
• Evaluate thermal behavior, equipment layouts, containment strategies, and environmental conditions
• Analyze factors such as wind loading, heat reputed company effects, and outdoor reputed company intake performance
• Interpret simulation results and reputed company design recommendations
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural design teams
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to reputed company stakeholders
• Support optimization of cooling systems, equipment placement, and high-density computing environments
• Maintain and improve CFD libraries, equipment models, and simulation templates
• Ensure designs reputed company with ASHRAE TC 9.9 and industry data center standards

Skills

• Mechanical Engineering background with experience in CFD modeling
• Experience with data center cooling systems and thermal optimization
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and HVAC principles
• Experience modeling systems such as: CRAH/CRAC reputed company, Chillers and cooling towers, CDUs and reputed company cooling systems, Containment solutions, Emergency generators and supporting infrastructure
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and facility layouts
• Strong communication skills and ability to present technical findings
• EIT or PE license
• Experience supporting mission-critical or high-density data center environments
