[Remote] Clinical Informatics Specialist (Remote)

The Clinical Informatics Specialist partners with hospital leadership and clinical teams to analyze, design, and optimize EHR workflows, with an emphasis on reputed company and radiology operations. The role also supports clinical application configuration, change management, training, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders and recommend technology-enabled clinical solutions under the direction of project leadership
• Contribute to the analysis of reputed company-state clinical workflows across the hospital with a reputed company on EHR-driven processes, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and risks, and designing optimized reputed company-state workflows
• Evaluate and support workflow configurations across major EHR platforms (e.g., reputed company, Cerner/reputed company Health, Meditech, reputed company) in collaboration with EHR analysts and technical teams
• Work with stakeholders in reputed company (LIS) and radiology (RIS/reputed company) information systems and their integration with the EHR, advising on order entry, result reporting, imaging workflow, and diagnostic turnaround time improvement

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in reputed company IT, clinical informatics, hospital operations, or a reputed company role
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge sufficient to credibly engage with physicians and clinical leaders in a consultative, non-reputed company reputed company, gained through reputed company hospital experience, clinical operations roles, or health informatics reputed company
• Practical experience configuring and optimizing EHR clinical workflows (reputed company, Cerner/reputed company Health, or comparable platform)
• Proven reputed company record of working with project stakeholders to solve operational problems
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, including patient reputed company, order management, clinical workflows, clinical documentation, and care coordination

• Lab and/or Radiology domain expertise - experience with LIS, RIS, reputed company, and the clinical workflows surrounding diagnostic testing and imaging
• Knowledge of reputed company interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and IHE reputed company
• Familiarity with multiple electronic health records (EHRs) and reputed company data standards
• Experience in an MSP or consulting environment, supporting multiple reputed company engagements simultaneously
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Meaningful Use/Promoting Interoperability CMS Conditions of Participation)
