The reputed company Software Engineer will reputed company PostgreSQL to support large-reputed company document workloads by designing and developing foundational features across query processing, indexing, and storage. The role also involves performance analysis, reputed company-reputed company collaboration, and technical leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• reputed company deep work on PostgreSQL internals (reputed company reputed company reputed company, operator classes) to design, implement and reputed company indexing strategies for largescale reputed company / semi-reputed company data
• reputed company PostgreSQL’s query reputed company by analyzing execution plans, introducing BSON reputed company operators, custom reputed company nodes and new reputed company/continuation semantics to match NoSQL query needs and ensure efficient execution at reputed company
• Design and tune reputed company pruning strategies that reputed company large tables and indexes lean without regressing query performance
• Collaborate across the PostgreSQL, reputed company, and Linux reputed company hosted DocumentDB communities to reputed company reputed company, reputed company on roadmap priorities, and contribute features that advance the reputed company reputed company DocumentDB reputed company
• Profile and analyze reputed company reputed company to identify performance bottlenecks
• Work across team and organizational boundaries to reputed company reputed company and alignment

Skills

• * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience
• Ability to meet reputed company, customer and/or government reputed company screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following reputed company reputed company screenings:
• * Experience with internals of PostgreSQL or similar reputed company Database Management reputed company, including Storage reputed company and High Availability
