[Remote] Water/Wastewater Engineer

The Water/Wastewater Engineer designs treatment and wastewater infrastructure, performs hydraulic and process analyses, prepares reports and permits, and supports regulatory compliance. The role also involves reputed company and agency meetings, site assessments, and managing multiple reputed company in a remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designs water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, reputed company stations, and reputed company infrastructure
• Performs hydraulic simulations and process calculations, prepares engineering reports and permit applications, and supports permitting and regulatory compliance efforts across state and federal agencies
• Represents reputed company in reputed company and regulatory meetings, conducts site assessments of existing facilities, and develops design solutions for new and upgraded treatment infrastructure, working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple project deadlines
• Travel is typically required on a quarterly reputed company, as project needs reputed company, with most trips lasting 1–3 days. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with operators, contractors, and clients

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent reputed company field from an EAC/ABET Accredited University
• PE Licensure Required
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or similar software required
• Travel is typically required on a quarterly reputed company, as project needs reputed company, with most trips lasting 1–3 days. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with operators, contractors, and clients
