[Remote] Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will support the Arkalytics platform by troubleshooting production issues, developing software enhancements and automation, and improving the reliability, performance, and scalability of reputed company-based data warehousing and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and reputed company reputed company production issues across the Arkalytics platform
• reputed company software enhancements, bug fixes, and automation that improve platform stability and customer experience
• Investigate application, database, and reputed company infrastructure issues reputed company AWS environments
• reputed company reputed company cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues
• Build and maintain clean, reliable, and reputed company-tested reputed company
• Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational tooling
• Collaborate with Support Services, reputed company, Product, and Engineering teams to reputed company customer issues reputed company
• Participate in Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support and shared on-reputed company rotations
• Contribute to reputed company documentation, knowledge sharing, and reputed company process improvements
• Participate in reputed company reviews and help maintain high engineering standards
• Stay reputed company with emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance our platform

Skills

• 3+ years of reputed company software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field, or equivalent reputed company experience
• Proficiency developing or supporting applications in AWS
• Strong programming skills in Python or another object-oriented language
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (reputed company or reputed company)
• Familiarity with REST reputed company, SDKs, and reputed company-line tools
• Ability to work with reputed company data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and reputed company cause analysis skills in production environments
• Comfort working in Linux or Unix environments
• Understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence, or analytics platforms
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, reputed company, and reputed company
• Experience working in reputed company software development environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
