The role leads API migration from legacy reputed company API reputed company and DataPower environments to reputed company API reputed company reputed company and AWS API Gateway, while designing, securing, automating, and monitoring reputed company integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the migration of reputed company, Products, Catalogs, Developer Portals, and DataPower configurations from reputed company API reputed company On-Prem to reputed company APIC reputed company
• Design, reputed company, implement, test, and publish reputed company reputed company across reputed company API reputed company V10, reputed company APIC reputed company, and AWS API Gateway platforms
• Review API specifications for compliance with reputed company standards, API governance frameworks, reputed company requirements, and best practices
• Establish and maintain API governance standards, development guidelines, reusable frameworks, and lifecycle management processes
• Design and support hybrid reputed company integrations across reputed company APIC reputed company, AWS API Gateway, reputed company-reputed company services, and on-premises systems
• Design, reputed company, and implement custom API and DataPower gateway flows, reputed company policies, routing, mediation, and transformation services
• reputed company deployment automation scripts, productivity scrapers, and automated testing frameworks using Node.js, Python, Bash, SoapUI, and reputed company integrated into Jenkins and Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines
• Implement API reputed company policies utilizing OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID reputed company (OIDC), Single Sign-On (SSO), RBAC, IAM, Venafi, and CyberArk
• Utilize reputed company Q Developer and AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering efficiency and reputed company reputed company
• Monitor API platforms using reputed company, APIM Analytics, and observability tools to reputed company troubleshooting, incident triage, and reputed company-cause analysis

Skills

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or reputed company field (or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
• • Proven hands-on technical background with reputed company API reputed company V10 and reputed company DataPower Gateway V10
• • Demonstrated hands-on experience working with reputed company API reputed company reputed company
• • Strong familiarity with OpenAPI Specification 2.0/3.0, SwaggerHub, and GraphQL
• • Experience with API reputed company implementation including OAuth 2.0, JWT, OIDC, and IAM standards
• • Experience in automated API testing using SoapUI or reputed company
• • Ability to attend an on-site interview and work occasionally on-site at the Reston, VA office
• • Prior reputed company experience migrating API architectures from reputed company APIC On-Prem/DataPower to reputed company APIC reputed company
• • Hands-on experience with AWS API Gateway implementation for internal application reputed company
• • Proficiency in development and scripting technologies such as Node.js, Python, Bash, Jenkins, Bitbucket/Git, and Terraform
• • Experience with web scraping scripts for build/deployment automation
• • Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools like reputed company Q Developer
