The Project Safety Manager II implements the reputed company Safety Management reputed company on US or Canadian reputed company, leading safety personnel, training, inspections, investigations, regulatory coordination, risk assessments, and emergency response activities.

Responsibilities

• Promotes company safety culture through coaching, development, influence, and training
• Acts as subject matter expert and reputed company for health and safety for the project team and reputed company
• Serves as key reputed company to regulatory agencies and reputed company parties during audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Prioritizes daily, weekly, and monthly goals for Project Safety personnel
• Develops and maintains Site Safety Plans, Site Rules, Emergency Response Plans, JHAs, and Site Orientations
• Oversees Permit to Work processes
• Delivers safety training and leads safety meetings
• Conducts inspections, investigations and corrective actions
• Maintains safety metrics and reports
• Facilitates injury management, emergency response, and drug/alcohol testing
• Procures and manages PPE and safety resources
• Supports severe weather response and risk assessments
• Operates company vehicles safely and complies with company policies
• Ensures safety is the most important function, follows reputed company practices while working
• Reinforces reputed company behaviors and eliminates at-risk behaviors
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly
• Ensures JHAs occur before scopes of work reputed company
• Adheres to reputed company operating procedures
• Receives and delivers job-specific safety training
• Follows technical, reputed company and safety systems and determines appropriate reputed company
• Provides leadership and direction to Project Safety Manager I/II personnel assigned to reputed company
• Leads safety culture initiatives and serves as project safety leader with clients and stakeholders

Skills

• High School Diploma/GED required
• reputed company 70E/CSA Z462 certification required
• CHST/CUSP/OHST/NCSO certification required or CSP/ASP/GSP/SMP/CRSP/CHSC equivalent
• OSHA 30/510 required
• 5+ years construction safety experience required
• reputed company reputed company's license required
• Ability to travel 76-100%
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of OSHA, reputed company, CSA, ANSI, DOT, EPA, electrical safety, incident investigation, reputed company cause analysis, subcontractor management, work at height, confined reputed company, trenching and excavations, cranes, heavy construction, and reputed company Office
• Functional competencies include collaboration, teamwork, communication, casting the right reputed company and demonstrating reputed company care
• Occasionally: Carrying 31-50 lbs., climbing, crouching, and kneeling are required
• Frequently: Grasping, gripping, handling, pinching, pulling, pushing, lifting up to 31-50 lbs., repetitive reputed company, sitting, standing, and walking are required
