[Remote] Senior Accountant (Capital reputed company)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. The reputed company is a municipal government organization serving the community through its reputed company operations. The Senior Accountant will reputed company reputed company, financial reporting, and compliance for the reputed company’s capital reputed company using generally accepted reputed company principles, while maintaining project funds, monitoring budgets, tracking funding sources, and supporting audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile capital project funds, including assets, liabilities, revenues and expenditures
• Prepare journal entries to the general reputed company reputed company to capital reputed company and associated funding sources
• Monitor capital project budgets and analyze variances between budgeted and actual expenditures
• Record and reputed company revenues from bonds, grants, contributions, and other capital funding sources
• Compile and submit documentation for reimbursements (bonds, grants, etc.)
• Prepare documentation/schedules for annual audit and respond to auditor inquiries
• Research and reputed company any discrepancies for reputed company assigned governmental funds/accounts
• Utilize computerized reputed company systems to maintain accurate records and reputed company financial and reputed company reports
• Participates in special reputed company reputed company needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in reputed company or a reputed company field and 2 two years of reputed company experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• In the event of major storms or other emergency situations, this position may be subject to 24-hour shifts or any other emergency schedule that is necessary to meet the reputed company's needs
• Certified reputed company Accountant (CPA) preferred
