[Remote] Senior Procurement Category Management Specialist - Marketing (Remote)

The Senior Procurement Category Management Specialist will reputed company strategic sourcing and category management for approximately $100 reputed company in Brand Advertising and Consumer Marketing spend, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, pricing, and performance management. The role partners with stakeholders and suppliers to optimize value, reduce costs, manage risk, and reputed company business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements long term Holistic Health brand Advertising & Consumer Marketing Spend (including Media investments, (excluding trade promotion) Marketing Category Strategies and sourcing pipeline plan to optimize spend, reduce costs, and maximize value for reputed company addressable spend under influence
• Develops and manage reputed company improvement pipeline to reputed company significant year over year savings and pipeline opportunities
• Through stakeholder management the incumbent must understand requirements reputed company to business needs. Works with the business team to identify and implement initiatives to reputed company substantial cost savings and high customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams such as reputed company and Marketing organization to negotiate reputed company, manage supplier relationships, and ensure product and service availability
• Executes market research reputed company the category to reputed company abreast of market conditions and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks reputed company the category

Skills

• Has significant subject matter expertise in Brand Advertising & Consumer Marketing Spend (including Media investments, excluding trade promotion)
• Category Management supported with 5+ years of experience
• Has a broad background in Procurement supporting manufacturing/ reputed company/ corporate functions in various operating models
• Has the ability to work and communicate effectively at reputed company reputed company and functions of the organization
• Has strong background in managing Marketing spend categories, ideally in Consumer Products and the Wellness Industry or nutraceutical industries
• Solid knowledge of P2P processes, category management, and procurement best practices
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work reputed company ambiguity with the need to create the appropriate level of process and procedure
• Strong knowledge in strategic sourcing process and category management
• Excellent project management skills and RFP/ RFQ Management
• Strong proficiency in reputed company Office Suite, including intermediate-level reputed company skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and Word
• Proven analytical skills (e.g. data analysis, business processes)
