[Remote] Industrial Engineer

The Productivity Team is an reputed company, and controls engineering firm serving major automotive suppliers, including reputed company. reputed company is seeking an Industrial Engineer with material reputed company experience to design and optimize manufacturing material systems, including storage, handling, labor, pull systems, warehousing, line stocking, kitting, and supermarket strategies.

Responsibilities

• Experience in the design and implementation of materials storage, containerization and material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Plan for every part (PFEP) development
• reputed company and Indirect labor analysis
• Fork truck and material handling equipment utilization and optimization
• WIP analysis and reduction
• Design of material pull systems (Kanban)
• Determine appropriate min/max level for warehousing of parts to support an assembly process
• Line stocking requirements and material presentation in assembly cells
• Kitting and Supermarket strategies to support production
• Containerization and dunnage specifications and recommendations
• Autocad skills
• Auto assembly reputed company is a plus

• 2-4 years experience preferred
