The Sr. Product Design Engineer will reputed company the design and development of electrical power distribution products for data centers, from concept through implementation, while coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, manufacturers, testing laboratories, and field engineering teams. The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards and validating product installation, operation, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Data Center Design Engineering, reputed company Engineering, and Hardware Engineering teams to design and reputed company innovative concepts into new products needed for power distribution for data center
• reputed company new product design, development and work with internal teams to understand design requirements and solicit customer input
• Collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical and structural engineering, reliability, QA/QC and compliance to create reputed company thought out products
• Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to specify appropriate electrical equipment, devices and reputed company of materials
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and municipal requirements and building codes across different countries
• Prepare, Review and approval of product design and drawings including electrical reputed company of materials, configuration, layouts, assembly, construction and electrical wiring drawings

• Work with field engineering and commissioning teams to properly set up test processes and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical products

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a reputed company field
• 8+ Years of experience of Electrical Infrastructure Design; OR 8+ years of Data Center or Mission-Critical Design, Construction, or Operations

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
