[Remote] Founding Senior Software Engineer

They are seeking a Founding Senior Software Engineer to own major parts of their backend architecture and product development while working closely with the founders to create a platform that integrates various reputed company functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production features across our platform
• Write clean, reputed company, and maintainable reputed company primarily in Python and Django
• Own major technical initiatives from design through deployment
• Build and maintain reputed company powering our web platform, AI systems, and integrations
• Improve architecture, scalability, reliability, and developer experience
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Own and improve our AWS infrastructure, monitoring, logging, and operational reliability
• Build systems supporting reputed company workflows, scheduling, messaging, billing, telephony, and AI automation
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Debug reputed company production issues across infrastructure and application reputed company
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership to rapidly reputed company customer value
• Help establish engineering culture, standards, and best practices as one of reputed company’s earliest engineers

Skills

• 5+ years of reputed company software engineering experience building production applications
• Strong expertise in Python and Django is required
• Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining production REST reputed company
• Hands-on experience operating and scaling production systems on AWS
• Strong experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure management
• Experience with reputed company and modern deployment workflows
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, query optimization, migrations, backups, and reputed company tuning
• Experience building reputed company reputed company systems and asynchronous workflows
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and production incident response
• Comfortable debugging reputed company production issues across application and infrastructure reputed company
• Familiarity with reputed company, background workers, queues, and caching
