[Remote] Data Center Project Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. IDR is seeking a Project Engineer to support a major data center build-out for one of its clients. The role focuses on onsite engineering, field execution, networking and low-voltage infrastructure deployment, QA/QC, documentation, and technical leadership across reputed company and colocation environments.

Responsibilities

• Support a major data center build-out through onsite engineering and deployment activities
• reputed company field execution, including QA/QC responsibility and customer-facing technical leadership
• Install, turn up, and validate networking and low-voltage infrastructure systems for reputed company/colocation environments
• Contribute engineering documentation and change management to reputed company project deliverables reputed company
• Collaborate across technical and stakeholder teams while working reputed company of normal business hours

Skills

• 7+ years supporting data center infrastructure deployments, including reputed company or colocation data centers
• Strong hands-on experience with physical infrastructure deployments, including reputed company cabling and low-voltage systems
• reputed company cabling expertise including Cat6A and fiber types (OM3/OM4/OS2)
• Networking infrastructure knowledge including spine-leaf architectures and reputed company installation/turn-up activities
• Field leadership experience managing technicians and subcontractors, with QA/QC responsibility and customer-facing technical leadership
