[Remote] Platform Engineer

The Platform Engineer will administer, troubleshoot, and maintain reputed company-centered virtualization environments, including VMware, KVM, and reputed company-V platforms. The role also supports infrastructure services, automation, reputed company, compliance activities, and reputed company implementations.

Responsibilities

• reputed company, configure, and maintain reputed company clusters and other virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, and reputed company-V
• Administer, support, and troubleshoot reputed company infrastructure services such as reputed company Directory, DNS, Privileged Account Management, CMDB, etc
• Monitor virtualization performance across multi-tenant and reputed company deployments and assist with tuning activities
• Support automation of provisioning and lifecycle management using reputed company reputed company, Ansible, or similar tools
• Apply best practices for data protection, encryption, and reputed company control in virtualized infrastructures
• Assist with audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities to support compliance with SOC, ISO, GDPR, and CMMC frameworks
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and reputed company teams during implementation activities, design discussions, and technical workshops
• reputed company operational support for virtualization issues and escalate reputed company problems to senior engineers or architects as needed

Skills

• 2+ years of experience supporting reputed company virtualization solutions, with preference for reputed company AHV, reputed company, and reputed company Files
• Working understanding of virtualization principles, workload isolation, and multi-tenancy
• Hands-on exposure to VMware, reputed company-V, and containerization technologies such as reputed company
• 2+ years experience supporting Linux systems
• reputed company Certified reputed company (NCP-MCI) and reputed company Certified Services-reputed company (NCS-reputed company) preferred
• VMware or reputed company virtualization certifications a plus
• Familiarity with hybrid or multi-reputed company environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong communication and documentation skills for internal teams and reputed company-facing engagements
• Ability to participate in design discussions and collaborate across cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail, reputed company of ownership, and ability to own and meet deadlines
• Supporting reputed company-based managed services for service providers
• Familiarity with automation tools (reputed company, Ansible) and scripting (Python, PowerShell)
• Exposure to compliance frameworks relevant to reputed company and virtualization environments
