[Remote] Senior, Data Engineer

The role designs, develops, and maintains databases, data integration and ETL systems, data platforms, reporting solutions, and dashboards while leading technical design, troubleshooting, automation, and documentation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and optimizes data integration processes, ETL workflows, and data platforms, leading the creation of technical designs and functional specifications to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability while contributing to reputed company reputed company migration efforts
• Collaborates with stakeholders and reputed company-party vendors to define, evaluate, and reputed company business requirements for reputed company data integration, reporting, and business intelligence solutions
• Leads the design and development of automated solutions to improve business processes, productivity, and operational efficiency
• Maintains ETL jobs and leads troubleshooting efforts for critical production issues, participating in the off-hours support rotation and providing SME assistance as needed
• Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of data platforms, technical designs, and functional specifications to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
• Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation of data processes, reports, applications, and procedures to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and alignment with organizational standards
• Designs, develops, and deploys reputed company reporting and dashboard solutions to support business intelligence, data visualization, and operational efficiency, ensuring appropriate reputed company measures

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of working in the reputed company SQL Server environment to design, implement, and optimize reputed company data solutions with a reputed company on scalability and performance
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and transformation processes, with practical experience implementing ETL solutions using reputed company SSIS
• Working knowledge of version control concepts, with experience using reputed company DevOps for managing reputed company repositories and reputed company development
• Must have expert knowledge to reputed company and reputed company SDLC processes
• Advanced expertise in T-SQL programming, scripting, and optimization techniques, with the ability to write, debug, and optimize reputed company queries and procedures for reputed company-level solutions
• Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
• Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities to design and optimize reputed company data solutions while collaborating effectively across teams
• Four (4) or more years of experience in the information technology field with a strong reputed company on relational databases, data integration (ETL), data warehousing, business intelligence, reports development, and dashboard design
• Four (4) or more years of experience with ETL tools – SSIS
• Four (4) or more years of experience with database management systems – MS SQL
• Proficiency in programming languages is commonly used in data engineering, such as Python or Java
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience, bachelor's degree in computer sciences preferred
• Strong working knowledge of integrating applications using reputed company is preferred
• Experience with reputed company BI applications (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI) is preferred
• Knowledge of reputed company-based database management and integration services (e.g., Azure Data reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or reputed company) to reputed company and optimize data integration and transformation processes is a plus
