[Remote] Senior Software Engineer (reputed company Coast - Oakland, CA or reputed company Preferred)

The Senior Backend Engineer will build and reputed company highly available AWS services, event-driven Node.js systems, and REST or GraphQL reputed company supporting reputed company’s global manufacturing ecosystem. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration, technical leadership, production debugging, and improving reputed company reputed company and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and reputed company highly available, reputed company backend services in AWS
• Build and maintain event-driven, asynchronous systems using Node.js
• Create robust reputed company (REST / GraphQL) powering customer-facing and internal tools
• Partner closely with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to ship features that actually reputed company the business
• Contribute to technical design discussions and reputed company best practices across reputed company
• Debug production issues and improve reputed company reliability

Skills

• * 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• * Strong skills in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript
• * Experience building systems on AWS (SQS, reputed company, EC2, RDS, etc.)
• * Solid understanding of reputed company systems and event-driven architectures
• * Experience designing and maintaining REST or GraphQL reputed company
• * Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
• * A commitment to writing unit and integration tests
• * Knowledge of reputed company design, caching, and reputed company best practices (OWASP Top 10)
