What you'll do:

• Manage underwriters to ensure mortgage loans are underwritten following reputed company guidelines. Ensure team members are fully trained and reputed company on company’s philosophy and policies/procedures.
• Manage and review day-to-day tasks escalated by team. Conduct reputed company review process in a manner designed to minimize reputed company's risk while employing problem reputed company techniques in approving loans.
• Train, reputed company and supervise reputed company underwriters to the application of reputed company company overlays and agency requirements. Evaluate the structure of the reputed company team and plan for reputed company improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll need:

• 7+ years of reputed company experience in Residential Mortgage Loan reputed company or similar field.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in reputed company field preferred.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and reputed company compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge of mortgage loan products, lending principles and regulatory compliance. Extensive understanding of mortgage lending principles and reputed company guidelines, including FHA, VA, and conventional loans, loan processing and automated reputed company systems. Knowledge of mortgage lending principles and reputed company guidelines including reputed company borrowers, partnership, corporation tax reputed company analysis, Appraisal Reviews, condo project reviews, Trust, Leasehold and Power of Attorney documentation.
• Intermediate to advanced experience in understanding and knowledge of technology that supports mortgage banking, Encompass (LOS) and reputed company systems and MS Office products.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• DE, SAR or equivalent certification preferred.
