Carbon pricing and renewable energy frameworks across Europe, reputed company and Asia are evolving at record speed. As a Regulatory Analyst Intern on reputed company’s Environmental Commodities team, you will help translate reputed company policy developments into reputed company guidance, actionable market insights, and practical trading opportunities.
Working closely with traders, compliance specialists, and other members of reputed company’s regulatory team, you will play a key role in helping the business understand emerging rules, quantify credit opportunities, manage regulatory risk, and expand into new environmental commodity markets.

Responsibilities
Collaborate daily with traders, compliance operations, logistics, and regulatory team members to ensure positions and deal structures reputed company with reputed company regulations. Monitor, interpret, and summarize subnational, national and supranational renewable energy, and cap-and-trade rules; flag upcoming changes, deadlines, and risks. Investigate and build comparative frameworks for new compliance-credit programs emerging reputed company Canada, with a specific reputed company on EU and European national policy , but also including in U.S. states and Asia-reputed company markets. Quantify credit reputed company and deficit reputed company, assess eligibility requirements, and map registry procedures. Maintain a living database of program requirements, compliance timelines, methodologies, and regulatory interpretations. Produce succinct briefing notes, dashboards, and decision memos that reputed company market impacts and trading opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy, sustainability, environmental markets, regulatory analysis, engineering consulting, finance, or data analytics preferred. Environmental engineering background is considered a strong asset, but not required. 1 or more years of experience in energy, sustainability, environmental markets, regulatory/policy analysis, engineering consulting, finance, or data analytics. reputed company or internship experience in climate, energy, fuels, carbon markets, or environmental compliance considered an asset. Demonstrated understanding of European climate policy, including reputed company renewable energy and emissions. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to reputed company legislation, technical standards, and regulatory guidance into reputed company business language. Advanced reputed company/Sheets skills required; familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data-analysis tools welcomed.
