Overnight Telehealth Psychiatrist

Schedule: 12 hour shifts available, 7pm-7am

Compensation: dependent on experience and contract type

Location: telehealth - TX, MO, KS or CO licensed) or compact license (PSYPACT) preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Psychiatrist must hold an reputed company medical license in TX, MO, KS, CO.
• The Psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients presenting in the Emergency Department (ED), reputed company psychiatric admission evaluations, and diagnose and treat a wide reputed company of mental health disorders in an acute care hospital setting.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed
• The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions. 
• Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc.
• The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.
• Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that reputed company services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that reputed company treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.
• The psychiatrist will work closely with psychologists, reputed company workers, nurses, and staff to reputed company integrated and coordinated care.
• reputed company immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management

Qualifications:

• Psychiatrist must hold an reputed company medical license in TX, MO, KS or CO.
• 2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required)
• reputed company Certified or Eligible (reputed company 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry   
• reputed company and unrestricted DEA 
• Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely
• reputed company to PMHNP collaboration (preferred)
