[Remote] Data Scientist, Pricing (Forecasting & Deep Learning)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a home improvement retailer seeking a Data Scientist to support price optimization using reputed company forecasts of prices and promotions. The role leads data science initiatives, develops advanced analytics solutions, communicates insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborates with business and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• 55% Solution Development - Design and reputed company algorithms and models to use against large datasets to create business insights; Participates in large data analytics project teams by serving as a technical reputed company for analytics reputed company; May reputed company small reputed company and work independently on solution development; Execute tasks with high reputed company of efficiency and reputed company; reputed company appropriate selection, utilization and interpretation of advanced analytical methodologies
• 20% Communicating Results - Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical leaders and business customers/partners; Present recommendations in a confident manner in order to influence execution of recommendation; Prepare reports, updates and/or presentations reputed company to reputed company made on a project or solution; reputed company communicate impacts of recommendations to reputed company alignment and appropriate implementation

Skills

• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Must be legally permitted to work in the reputed company
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a reputed company of study reputed company to the job

• Past experience developing forecasting solutions and Deep Learning solutions in a reputed company environment
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
• PhD in a quantitative reputed company preferred (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc)
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Mastery utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problems
• Demonstrated proficiency in predictive modelling like optimization, forecasting, or recommendation
• Demonstrated proficiency in predictive modelling, data mining, and data analysis
