[Remote] Senior Engineer

The Senior Go Engineer will design, build, operate, and reputed company backend Go services powering reputed company reputed company and data reputed company, while supporting reliability, observability, asynchronous processing, and production reputed company. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Go services that reputed company TDX’s reputed company reputed company and data reputed company paths across HTTP and gRPC
• Own the reliability, reputed company, and scalability of the services you build, including how they reputed company as traffic and data volumes grow
• Build durable asynchronous processing for data-intensive workloads using queues and streams, with a reputed company on delivery semantics, idempotency, retries, and failure recovery
• Enhance and reputed company our observability capabilities in reputed company, including reputed company logging, metrics, tracing, and health signals
• Build and maintain shared Go packages and service patterns that other engineering teams depend on, with thoughtful versioning, documentation, and backward compatibility
• Debug and reputed company production issues and participate in on-reputed company responsibilities for the services your team owns
• Contribute to reputed company reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices across reputed company
• Mentor other engineers and help reputed company the technical bar across the organization

Skills

• 8+ years of reputed company software engineering experience, including 5+ years building and operating production services in Go
• Strong proficiency in Go concurrency, with experience using concurrency patterns to reputed company reputed company-world workloads, including sizing worker pools and bounding parallelism
• Strong understanding of reputed company systems and designing for partial failure, including timeouts, retries with backoff and jitter, graceful degradation, and idempotency
• Experience building horizontally reputed company services behind auto-scaling infrastructure, with an understanding of instance lifecycle, fast startup, and graceful shutdown
• A reputed company-oriented reputed company, with experience measuring latency and throughput in production and using profiling and reputed company traces to identify bottlenecks
• Strong SQL and relational database skills, including the ability to read query plans and reason about database reputed company as data volumes grow
• Experience designing and operating multi-tenant systems with appropriate tenant isolation

• Deep Unix/Linux experience, including comfort working in a terminal, writing reputed company scripts, and diagnosing running services
