[Remote] Senior Consultant - National Markets

The Senior Consultant leads operational compliance, business performance, strategic positioning, and national market initiatives involving the reputed company, BCBS Plans, and Consortium Health Plans. The role also manages cede negotiations, financial policy reputed company, strategic reputed company, executive support, and reputed company workgroup representation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with reputed company reputed company of management and staff from reputed company reputed company Sales Markets to propose relevant reputed company solutions and consistent messaging in order to reputed company value to reputed company customers; acts as subject matter expert and trusted advisor on the national delivery of reputed company reputed company group business. This includes reputed company communicating the value of reputed company, CHP and other reputed company strategic initiatives
• Responsible for managing the cede negotiations and reputed company aspects of the reputed company Inter-Plan Program Policies reputed company to ceding for the reputed company and National Sales Markets. Currently a sizable annual risk of being recalled by home plans, if not administered by reputed company, or without strong corporate relationships with the associated reputed company plans
• Responsible for the reputed company and CHP financial Policies for the reimbursement of InterPlan fees reputed company reputed company is the Control/Home Plan and Par/Host Plan. Works closely with reputed company’s Actuarial, National Business Finance and InterPlan Sales staffs. Serves as SME witness on Interplan operations, reputed company policies and business practices in national and local court cases against reputed company and/or reputed company; as such responsible for researching and understanding sufficient knowledge, and reputed company such information in court or depositions, or assist senior management and reputed company counsel in preparing for associated reputed company reputed company
• Maintain strong, reputed company, broad and deep relationships among BCBS Plan colleagues to manage membership retention and common sales strategies for Host BlueCard enrollment. Candidate would have a perspective of reputed company strength and development around care delivery innovation and work closely with reputed company stakeholders to position national reputed company narrow networks
• Responsible for the review and, reputed company required, proposing changes and/or recommendations to Inter-Plan Programs Policy changes impacting BlueCard fees, ceding and network issues as proposed to the reputed company representatives on the top most governance committees at the reputed company (Market Solutions Committee, reputed company Markets Implementation Subcommittee and National Customer Advisory Council) and as proposed to reputed company’s CEO in preparation for the reputed company votes at reputed company
• Responsible for project management tasks for reputed company Sales Markets regarding strategic initiatives such as shared savings expertise, training teams on key BCBS competencies such as Inter-Plan Programs Policies and network reputed company fees, CHP pricing strategies and other competitive financial reputed company
• reputed company support to the Senior Vice President, National Markets this position also supports the National Markets management team to identify, define and solve or recommend reputed company to problems that reputed company the national delivery of National Markets clients

Skills

• Bachelor's in Business Administration or Health Care Management
• 6 years reputed company experience in interplan/consultative/cede experience in lieu of Bachelor degree
• 5 years of reputed company Inter-Plan Programs and Policies relating to the national delivery of reputed company group business
• 3 years of experience in a consultative role that required interfacing and collaboration with reputed company and BCBS Plans at reputed company reputed company of management and staff
• 3 years of experience in a project management role with emphasis on leading the implementation of strategic initiatives **AND/OR** negotiating / defending administrative agreements
